Jira Server 7.11 EAP has been released!

Reading Time: < 1 minute

We've just released the first EAP of Jira Server 7.11 as part of the Early Access Program (EAP) to let you know about the changes coming to Jira.

Changes

With this release, we're bringing the following improvements:

  • IPv6 support: Postponed from the previous release, the IPv6 support has finally arrived! In most cases there's nothing you need to do, but there are a few known issues you need to be aware of.
  • Apache Tomcat upgrade: We'll be upgrading Apache Tomcat to 8.5.29.
  • Projects – new columns: We're adding two new columns to the Projects page to help you determine whether a project is already outdated, or still in use. These will show you the number of issues in a project, and the date of the last update on an issue.
  • Brand update – JIRA to Jira: If your plugins use our product name anywhere, please make sure to update it to Jira, so our users get a consistent look and feel.

You can read more about this release and how to download it in our development guide Preparing for Jira 7.11.
