2022 is a remarkable year for Atlassian as we celebrate a full decade of app-powered collaboration with our unparalleled ecosystem of Marketplace Partners as Atlassian Marketplace hit its 10 year milestone. This year also marked Atlassian's incredible 20 year journey, from a fly-by-the-seat-of-your-pants idea supported by a $10,000 credit card and lots of time to code, to a global enterprise with over 8,000 dedicated employees and 200,000+ customers.
The past decade has seen significant growth with Marketplace Partners at the forefront of driving innovation, allowing for extensibility, faster scalability, and creating new market opportunities. Following our 6-month program level review, we are thrilled to welcome the latest members of our Marketplace Partner Program. We also applaud all existing partners for their continued commitment to ensure we are in the best position to deliver extended value to our joint customers in our shared mission to unleash the potential of ALL teams.
Platinum, Gold, and Silver Marketplace Partners have met Atlassian's App Security Compliance and Customer Support requirements:
- Cloud and Data Center – Marketplace Partners are investing in cloud and have Data Center Approved versions of their high-traction server apps.
- Security – Marketplace Partners are security-minded and improving their security practices by participating in our Marketplace Security Programs. Cloud Security Participant badge and Cloud Fortified badge were introduced for participating cloud apps on Marketplace so customers can make informed decisions about the security of the cloud apps.
This fiscal year, we're doubling down on our efforts to deliver a consistent Marketplace Program experience. Our strategy for success is built on enhanced collaboration and trust with partners. We will be recalibrating for a more tailored support and improved opportunities for growth and enablement to meet the needs of our partners in our joint commitment to better serve customers.
